I’m Tiffany Castellanos, a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting couples, families, and individuals through life’s challenges. My work has focused on helping people navigate marital conflict, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and major life transitions.

In addition to my private practice, I’ve served as both a therapist and a clinical instructor at the University of Florida Law School. There, I had the privilege of teaching law students and clinical social work students on topics related to mental health and disabilities — a role that deepened my commitment to combining evidence-based practices with compassionate care.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in research. I specialize in the Gottman Method of couples counseling, which helps partners improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen connection. I also use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help clients heal from trauma in a gentle and effective way. No matter the focus, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: with the right support, healing and meaningful change are always possible.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy


    Sometimes, even when we want to move forward, our mind and body hold on to distressing memories, images, or emotions. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a form of psychotherapy designed to help you process and resolve these experiences in a safe, supportive way.

    ART uses guided eye movements - similar to what naturally happens during deep sleep - to help the brain “reprogram” the way troubling memories are stored. The facts of what happened remain the same, but the painful emotional response can be replaced with calm, clarity, and relief.

  • Couples Counseling Gottman Method


    Every relationship faces challenges.

    Whether you’re struggling with communication, working through conflict, or hoping to strengthen your bond, therapy can help you and your partner feel heard, understood and supported.

    Using the research-based Gottman Method, I provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where both partners can share openly.

    Together, we’ll uncover the challenges and patterns that keep you stuck and build new ways of relating to each other that bring you closer together.

    Living abroad can be enriching and deeply challenging. Even when the move is intentional, many expats and global nomads experience anxiety, disconnection, or a loss of confidence as they adapt to life in a new culture.
