Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. I provide both individual therapy and couples counseling, depending on your needs.

Some clients begin individually and later transition into couples work, while others focus on one approach. We’ll decide together what will best support your goals.

  • If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or stuck, online individual therapy can be a powerful way to gain clarity and support.

    It’s especially helpful if you:

    • Have a busy schedule

    • Prefer privacy and convenience

    • Feel more comfortable opening up from home

  • es—online couples therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. Research shows that virtual therapy provides the same structured guidance, communication tools, and emotional support.

Using the Gottman Method, online sessions focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and helping you understand each other more deeply—all from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Many couples even find it easier to open up when they’re in a familiar environment.

  • The first session is a relaxed, supportive conversation where we begin to understand your story.

For individuals, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any challenges you’re facing.

For couples, we’ll talk about your relationship history, current concerns, and what each of you hopes to improve.

You won’t be pressured to share everything at once—this is simply the beginning of building trust and creating a plan that feels right for you.

  • Yes—healing after infidelity is possible.

While it can feel overwhelming, many couples are able to rebuild trust and create a stronger, more honest relationship with the right support.

    In therapy, we focus on:

    • Understanding what happened and why

    • Processing the emotional impact for both partners

    • Rebuilding trust step by step

    • Creating new patterns of communication and connection

This process takes time, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

  • Yes. I work with expats navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and the challenges of living between cultures.

Therapy can help you feel more grounded, connected, and supported—no matter where you are.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a gentle, evidence-based approach to treating trauma.

It helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel as intense or overwhelming.

Many clients experience relief more quickly than with traditional talk therapy, without needing to go into deep detail about painful experiences.

  • I currently provide online therapy for clients located in Florida and Massachusetts.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, many clients receive partial reimbursement for individual and couples therapy through their out-of-network benefits.

Many people looking for mental health care assume they have to find an in-network therapist covered by their insurance, but that’s not always the case. I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means you pay for sessions upfront, and your insurance may reimburse you for some or all of the cost. Many insurance plans cover 50% to 100% of therapy, even with out-of-network providers.

To make this easier, you can use the Mentaya benefits checker to see what your insurance plan may cover and estimate your out-of-pocket cost before booking.

If your insurance doesn’t cover out-of-network therapy, you can still pay out of pocket, and we’ll work with you to ensure you get the support you need.

  • Private Pay:

    Individual Therapy (55 mins) $250

    Couples Therapy (55 mins) $300

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (up to 75 minutes) $300
