Accelerated Resolution
Therapy for Effective
Trauma Healing
help your mind and body
reprocess distressing experiences
in a safe, supportive way.
What Is Accelerated Resolution Therapy?
ART is a brief, evidence-based approach designed to help you quickly resolve trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, ART does not require you to go into detailed discussions about painful memories. Instead, it works by helping your brain reprocess how those memories are stored—so they no longer feel overwhelming.
This approach is especially helpful if you feel stuck, triggered, or emotionally drained and want a more efficient path to healing.
How ART Works
During an accelerated resolution therapy session, you’ll be guided through a structured process that uses eye movements similar to those that occur during REM sleep.
These eye movements help your brain process and “recode” distressing memories in a way that reduces their emotional intensity.
You remain fully in control throughout the session, and you won’t be asked to relive trauma in a way that feels overwhelming.
Many clients notice a shift in how they feel—even after just a few sessions.
Benefits of ART
One of the most compelling aspects of ART is its efficiency. The accelerated resolution therapy success rate is strong, with many individuals experiencing significant relief in a shorter period of time compared to traditional approaches.
Benefits may include:
Reduced anxiety and emotional distress
Relief from trauma-related symptoms
Fewer intrusive thoughts or triggers
Improved sense of calm and clarity
Lasting results without long-term therapy
